Kids at Hope In Our Schools

Kids at Hope is alive and well in

St. Lucie Public Schools!

The St. Lucie County school district has adopted a five year plan in which all schools will become Kids at Hope schools. Currently 35 of our 41 schools have been trained in the Kids at Hope belief system.

The Kids at Hope beliefs and practices are being implemented in a number of ways including the Aces Tracking System, tunnels of hope, “prep” rallies to prepare and encourage students for upcoming testing season; as well as parent nights and destination activities. Many schools have also arranged Kids at Hope Parent Trainings to ensure that the KAH beliefs are practiced at home too. Kids at Hope Parent trainings have been offered in Spanish, English, and Creole. In 2016 the "Treasure Hunter Council" was created.  The Treasure Hunter Council meets to share KAH success and ideas for upcoming KAH themed events. The council includes administrators and staff from every Kids at Hope school, as well as our Kids at Hope Coordinators, and meets quarterly during the school year.
